Dr. Shah graduated from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara in 1980 and completed a Medical Oncology fellowship at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in 1988. Shortly thereafter, in 1989, he opened the first oncology practice in Adams County and also pioneered the Cancer Program at Gettysburg Hospital. Dr. Shah’s areas of interest include solid tumors such as lung, breast, and colon as well as hematological disorders, anemia, lymphoma, and leukemia.

  • "DR. Shah cares for me more than I do myself. He is an excellent DR, and I'm a terrible patient. I've given up on so much of my life interests, but he keeps me going. They have several DRs at the Cancer Center, DR Shah is the best with "bedside manors." He fights insurance companies for you when needed, he really cares. I have seen so many DRs in the last 5-10 years, many don't care and only see you as a dollar sign, or hopeless cause, DR Shah cares and is outstanding at what he does. I hope these words give comfort to someone. You, or your loved one, will be in outstanding hands with DR Shah. Please trust me, and please trust him. He makes me care more about myself when he just glances at me in the infusion room. I feel guilty about how bad of a patient I am for him. As I said, I gave up trying about 10 separate times now.
