Gettysburg Cancer Center partnered with the Cancer Support Community (CSC) to provide a variety of resources to our patients. We are one of the few community oncology practices in the United states that’s been able to affiliate with the CSC, an organization with over 175 locations worldwide.

Through the CSC, we can offer Helpline, a free phone service that provides support and resources to all cancer patients. Helpline is a great resource to ensure no patient faces cancer alone. This phone service is open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 9PM.

We also offer Mylifeline.org, a great tool for patients and caregivers to build a community of resources and focus on healing.

The goal of our social workers is to offer support to each and every patient through their unique treatment journey. We provide a variety of assistance to our patients including financial and emotional support, resource navigation, dietitian support, advanced directives planning, relaxation techniques, transportation and any other need a patient may have.
